I've noticed that whenever I upload an image to the file manager and plug the image location into my own code, when I preview the page, the image will load and appear for a moment and then disappear completely. I've quadruple checked the coding and everything seems to be in order. It only happens when I've placed an image within my own html.

Has anyone else run into this problem, or have any idea where my glitch lies?

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Hi iowaartisans,

This would typically be due to some sort of caching issue on your machine. Try pressing ctrl+F5 when viewing that page where it disappeared and odds are it will then show properly. Can you also give us an example also of products where you are seeing this?

Thanks
Joe

Thanks for the reply, but this was my own first thought as well. However, it's the same on any machine I try. And it has nothing to do with product/item images, it only occurs within my own html fields...i.e. our storefront splash page. You can see for yourself here:

Hi steph,

I just took a quick look at your html and I saw that one of your images was referencing -

https://02a8bdd.netsolstores.com/mcp/filema...AC%20Shadow.jpg

That url is actually an internal function of the file manager and can't be used to reference an image.

The url should be something like /images/image.jpg or basically whatever the folder structure is for your site. So for that image above it is actually /images/CAC%20Shadow.jpg
