Is it possible to have your categories all displayed on your homepage?

I'm looking for the way they are displayed if you click on a parent category, and thumbnails of all the sub-categories pop up. Only I just want the category thumbnails to pop up on the storefront.

Any help would be so greatly appreciated!

You can view all of your categories on the site...

Design > Site Design > Columns > Click the Edit Button for your Category Module. (It's probably "Browse by Category")

Then set the depth in the drop down to how many cats and sub cats to what you want to show.

As for the "pop up" style, that also can be accomplished with some javascript and css. There are tons of third party software companies out there. I use opencube.com ... the only problem is you have to manually make the menu.

If you are asking what I think you are asking, you have to custom write your home page to display the categories in the body (center) of the page. There is no way that I am aware of to automatically display the cateogories in the center column.
