here's the deal, i am adding a search form on the header of my site but i can not make it fit the one i have on my static pages and i all get for code is:

<ns:search type="custom" customtext="Search"></ns:search>

where can i resize the search box? or how can i twist the code to make it fit my original design?

You can use the same basic code from your static site and use javascript to initiate a search.

but where should i add the javascript code, because if i add it to the header section it doesnt work...

nevermind, i added the javascript inside the <dvid> code and it worked! thank you very much!
