I'm trying to assign a new directory pointer for a sub-domain. It's a domain that's hosted elsewhere... I've forward the nameservers on the other host. When I enter in the info and hit submit I get the following error...
"We're sorry but this hosting package has reached its maximum number of directory pointers. You will need to unassign some other domain pointer in order to assign this domain / add this subdomain."
I only have 19 domains and sub-domains pointed so far... don't you get 100??
Any ideas how to fix this?
There are two limitations, directory pointers and domain pointers. Domain pointers are used when a domain is pointing to an exising directory pointer that was configured with another domain. When you assign a domain to be used with a unique directory, a directory pointer is used. You can see your curent limitations, as well as what's being used on your hosting details page.
