I was wondering if anyone knows the line of code to insert to set up the 1st level category index at the bottom in the footer. I know there is a module for the colunms, but I can not find the source code to do it horizontally as small text menu at the footer..

Anyone?

You probably would have to hard code it in using basic html. Otherwise clicking on the link for the first level category would drop down a subcat in the footer.

You should be able to use this...

You would have to use some CSS to get it to show horizontally instead of vertically though.

chrispalmeri is right ... and clues on to a little secret (left/right HTML module nsScript will also display in the header/footer). The category menu is a standard bulleted list, so the CSS to display it horizontally is not that difficult, just Google "CSS horizontal menu" and you will find thousands of examples.
