Is there any way possible to get a report or see how often a particular discount is used? it would be very beneficial to know how different discounts are being used. I see you can look at individual products and tell if a coupon or discount has been used on it..... Is there not a way to see how many times one is used, $$ discounted, etc etc.

I agree that this is a must have report. For example, we have word-of-mouth affiliate programs where a group enters a discount code at checkout, and we give them a % of the sale...right now we have to export the orders and then filter that to get the amount.

It would be a great addition to the reports if this was something that could be added.

Hi All,

Currently you can do this. If you export your orders via XML, this export will contain all of the discount info ever used. You can then import this file in to excel, sort by discount, etc and then run the reports you need.

Is the customer group discount information included in this? Or only coupon codes and gift certificates?

Hi cwood8989,

I am not 100% sure because I have not tested that specific discount myself and the section header on the export just says discounts. I would believe that it does since it literally exports everything else about the order and every other type of discount that I have tried.

If you have an order placed with that type of discount try to export it and you will see then for sure what it exports and the format.

I placed a test order using an account that is associated with a customer group discount. When I exported the order into Excel, I don't see a column heading with the name discounts. The order just looks like any other order, with the discount already taken out of the product price. There doesn't appear to be anything that would set these orders apart.
