Once the order is placed is there anyway to modify the order whether it is adding or subtracting products to the order? Currently if the customer changes their mind on an order the only thing to do is cancel the order and put in a new order. Is there any more stream lined way to do this?

In the current release, no, but the next release you will have the ability to add, edit and clone orders from the control panel.

When is the new release available? I am getting ready to go live and not being able to edit the order is a major problem for me.

If you have a payment gateway and you cancel the order to re=enter with changes how is the credit card payment handled?

The release is planned for mid summer but a date is not set just yet because the release is still in Development and QA. Once that gets close to finished we will post the date on these forums.

In terms of canceling an order, you can refund the customer if you have already charged them through the admin panel. If you have just authorized their card you can then void the charge. To get a changed order currently then the best thing would be to have the customer place the new order or you act as the customer create the order and enter in their payment info.
