I have a product with 50 variation choices (color choice).

I would like folks to have a discount for 2 or more of this item, regardless of the variation choice.

Currently, the discount will only apply to 2 or more of the variation choice.
I don't want the discount to apply to "2 of red", but 2 of the product, and have the cart adjust as more are placed into the cart.

I can acheive this if I use personalizations rather than variations, the problem is that personalizations only allow up to 25 "answers".

How can I allow for more than 25 answers to a personalization - or - qty adjust for discount in cart
when using variations?

Also, it there a way to qty discount without using percentages?
Is there a simple $ off function?

Currently there is not a way to do what you are asking. The reason as you have seen is that variations are treated as unique products but personalizations are not. Your best bet if you need this is to limit your color choices and move on with personalizations if you need to have this type of discount.

Is there a way to have more than the limit of answers to a personlization question?
I think it is 25 or 50 - can we get more in there?

Also, is there a way to create qty discount not based on percentages but number of products?
$8.50 each, 2 for $8.00

There is a specific dollar value we are trying to reach, but the perctange discouts will only allow for
whole number discounts. E.G. we need 4.57% to reach the dollar goal, rather the 4% or 5%.

Any ideas?
