Ok, I'm stumped. Here's what I'm trying to setup in terms of shipping for store.devlinboat.com:

+ Custom method: $8 flat rate shipping for contiguous US only

+ USPS: Priority Mail for Global destinations only

The flat rate method works for US zip codes but I can't get any non-US destinations to work. In those cases, we can't get past the Shipping Address screen. The error message is "Shipping is not available to this location."

Please advise and thanks!

I would just double check the country region that you have setup for your Priority mail option. Also you have to make sure that priority mail can be shipped to those other countries too on USPS.com

If USPS.com does not allow you to ship with that method to the address you typed into checkout you will get that message.

Keep in mind that Priority Mail is not the same thing as Priority Mail International. If you want to be able to ship outside the United States, you need to make sure you've enabled Priority Mail International.

I mispoke in my earlier message. I have already selected USPS Priority Mail International Flat Rate Box and modified the Region to exclude the US. I checked the USPS website and they most certainly ship using this method to the UK and Canada which is where my test shipping addresses are. And so with this method, I consistently get "Shipping is not available to this location" and neither I nor our customers can get past the Customer Information screen when a non-US address is entered.

Meanwhile, the custom flat rate method with region set to US only, is working every time.

So what am I doing wrong here?

Please advise and thanks!

P.S. With the exception of this one issue, we have found the e-commerce tools to be superb and a huge upgrade from what we were using with another provider. We've very glad we switched. Thanks!

I am having a similar problem. I have enabled PMI Flat Rate Envelope for items less than 1 lb. I have also enabled PMI and EMS international.

I cannot seem to get the Flat Rate option to show up...even when I definitely have a single item less than 1 lb. No matter what I do I can't get the PMI Flat rate option to show. The PMI and EMS options show, but not the flat rate.

Scott seems to be having the problem with the PMI Flat Rate box... could the Flat Rate International option be a common problem here? Like Scott, my domestic flat rate option is working fine.

Priority Mail Int'l Flat Rate rates not working is a known issue that's been logged.

For regular Priority Mail Int'l, make sure your products have a weight, even if that weight is 1 ounce.
