I believe it is towards the bottom. Can't say for sure since we are locked out of the Control panel with the update going on. But it is on that Page.

Select a type of discount. Then you will see the field.

I've done that -
Where would the field show up?
Below the type of discount? To the right?

Crazy.

Thanks for any more info.

Okay, I am EDITING the code I want to add because the CODE part is not there on the discount code list page.

I DID select "Amount Off Product Price" in the drop down menu and then selected % and added "10" into the provided field.

Then I have the radio button for "Apply Discount to specific Categories and Products" selected.

In all the text and selections below that I STILL see no place to add the code.

Where is it. Do I need to delete this attempt or start over with a new try?

Why is this not more intuitive.

Please advise.

Chuck

Hi Chuck,

Discount codes cannot be used on a product level, only on the whole order level. Checkout the manual here - http://ecommerce.networksolutions.com/supp...t_Off_Order.htm

You have to set your drop down to Amount off Order

What the???

Are you saying I can not add a code from the "Add a code" link where all my other codes already are?

Hi Chuck,

I cannot comment about migration, odds are if the codes migrated those cannot be edited as that functionality does not exist in v7 yet but they may have setup a way for them to work for migration only stuff. You will need to contact support or post this question on forums.monstersmallbusiness.com since it is related to migration data.

I can only tell you how that functionality is setup for V7.

If you look at the manual it should tell you how.

1.Simply choose add a new discount.
2. Select Amount off order.
3. Fill in info for name and description
4. set in prices, min/max and dates.
5. select Coupon Code or Link under usage
6. fill in code.
7. press save.
