When they perform the tax rate update tonight (2AM EST), will sites remain online with no sales tax being charged to anyone at checkout for that hour?

Hi Cwood,
That is correct and normally the updates are faster than that. Note though that this service is provided from a third party so we are not the ones updating it, etc. Just during that time frame we can't pull rates from them, think of this like if UPS went down, etc we couldn't pull rates from them. Note that your site will still be up and customers can checkout. Joe |

OK, thanks Joe. I will probably take my site offline during that time so we don't have to cover any sales tax that should have been charged on orders during that time.
