As the title implies, I'd love to purchase an E-commerce Pro account and host the db/sql files for Wordpress within the file manager without having to purchase an additional "hosting package" from Netsol.

Does anyone know if I can streamline do this?

Unfortunately, no. Wordpress is powered by PHP which is not available on the ecommerce servers.

You can easily setup a wordpress blog with a networksolutions hosting account but it cannot be hosted on the same as the ecommerce package. The good news is a hosting package only costs 9.96 a month and to get the blog setup it is just a few mouse clicks -

But can this service from Netsol be integrated into our E-Commerce Pro website in any way? Or do we just have to link to it take people off our site?

You could display it in an iframe or have it as a subdomain. It just can't be on the same hardware.

You do this in your Account Manager. Under the Web Hosting section, just choose which directory you want and then type in the subdomain.

I spent the better part of yesterday evening with a network solutions tech and it is still not working correctly. Does anyone have any step by step instructions that would better explain the process?

We created the subdomains and assigned the ip address to the new server, however when we type in the subdomain it does not take you to the proper place.

Try asking your question in the hosting forums. This is really a hosting related question and the hosting staff does not read the posts in the ecom section.
