I am scheduled to migrate on 9/11 (hope that is not an unlucky day!) couple questions:

What time of day will the migration take place? Midnight on 9/11 or during the day??

I saw there are some fixes being put in on 9/11 also. Is there a list of what is being fixed? By any chance is the Paypal Express issue being resolved where a discount code cannot be used?

Thanks!
Jackie

My day-before confirmation email said it will take place early in the morning (tomorrow) to avoid downtime during typical business hours.

ours migrated today ~ 9:15 central. at about 9:40 I changed the DNS with my registrar and by about 10:00 the site was resolving correctly. I thought it was going to be done earlier, but it is up and running.

Still working on the email as that isn't working at all. I couldn't even log on to the web mail... I reset passwords on two accounts but it says it takes 15 min for them to be reset?

When we migrated the day after Labor Day it was in the afternoon. I also had issues with the email when I was migrated. I actually think the old email was working for a few days after migration then it must have been shut off, because that was when I did't get email. Just because it works once you migrate doesn't mean it is the Netsol email. At least that was true in my case.

I recommend trying to get the email from Netsol working before Final migration if possible. I guess you would send some test emails from the Netsol webmail. I wish I would have tested it.

Good luck,

DJ

^ I am on hold with tech support now. email not working. 2/3 can't even be accessed through web mail. Not sure how you would test the netsol email as it doesn't look like anything really changes (outlook wise).

During the day. The people that are responsible for doing these are available during normal business hours only.

Interesting that my confirmation email from NS said it would happen before typical business hours. Migration today went relatively quiet, but had SSL problems most of the day which prevented entering the checkout process or logging into MCP. Gina at NS (at the ecom toll free number) did a great job of helping me out today. Everything looks fine tonight.

SGrover - who is your SSL with?

Hopefully since my domain name and SSL is with Network Solutions that part will come together smoothly for me. Of course something else will go terribly wrong.

My SSL certificate was issued by NS. The problem I had today was that my migrated account was set up as "domain.com" instead of "www.domain.com" - which did not match my SSL certificate. Also, the certificate that was migrated expired this past April.

Gina switched me over to the shared NS certificate until my problems could be resolved, had the SSL folks reinstall the correct/current certificate, and changed my account to add the "www".

No problems with DNS or mail. Wait time on the phone when I called was about 20 minutes (I expected longer).
