We have a unique site that is going to act as an educational tool and donation site for our constituents. We want the display of products to be clean until they actually click on a product thumbnail. We want to hide the "add to cart" and "more info" buttons as well as the quantity boxes on category pages and the homepage until a person clicks on the thumbnail and goes to the product page.

I am a new user. I understand html code and am OK at style sheets. Just unfamiliar with where to change some of the core features.

thanks

You can actually change this easily with a setting.

In Operations >> Settings >> Products (tab), set Product list purchasing - to Do not allow product list purchasing, this will hide that then.

Hi Joe:

That is exactly what I needed as far as hiding the quantity and add to cart buttons. Where do I hide the "more info" button?

Many thanks for your time.

By default the more info button will always display when you don't allow product list purchasing to give users a simple easy to see link to view the product.

If you want to remove it you would have to replace the image for that in Design >> Site Design with a custom clear image or add the following to your own css file -

CODE
.product-list-control{display:none}
Go to the top of the page
