 How Long For G@@gle To Index Xml File |

I have always used a text file in the past. After the migration I submitted an xml sitemap. It said that there were no errors. This was 2 days ago. It gives me the total urls in the sitemap but says there is no data available for indexed urls. With the txt sitemaps I have usually seen the number indexed within a couple of hours.
I was wondering what others have experienced. Just to play it safe, I redid my sitemap.txt with all the new urls and submitted it as well. |

Sometimes it is a couple of Days, but more often, it is they indexed your xml file but just didn't update the field in the webmaster tools that says what date it was done. You have to remember, Google doesn't like to tell you everything when it happens, it just does what it wants, when it wants, to whom it wants. They are G! |

One more g@@gle related question. Do you thing it matters to them SEO wise, where you host your company blog? Any opinions appreciated.
