I am playing with the QB to Store Product Import and i have noticed that when you import the product the (Product is hidden and unavailable for sale.) is checked.. Is there a way to keep this from happening?

Another question If you create a product in Store with Variations is there a way to link the product and the Variation to QB?

Hi Sidewall,

The product should only be marked hidden if you have it marked as not available for sale inside QuickBooks, at least that is what I was told. A simple fix though if you are using the Pro ecommerce version you can do an export of all products, unhide them, then reimport them.

In terms of variations, if you have a product on the storefront that has variations, when that variation option has been purchased it will be sent to QuickBooks as its own product. So when you are looking in quickbooks you will see multiples of the same product name, but it will have a number next to it such as product a(1), product a(2)... when you edit that product, in the description it will have which variant options represent that product.
