It looks like we may have found the root of the cause for this issue, we are looking into a possible fix for this, however, at this time I am not able to provide further details or an ETA for the implementation. I will update this thread as more information becomes available.

I have always wondered if G is really giving us the correct stats or just what they want us to know? I have no way to test this theory on my NetSol site, but I have another site that uses SmarterStats and G analytics. This site also runs an affiliate program (3rd party) and provides analytics also.

Now, SmarterStats is telling me I am getting traffic from xyz sites and can verify this by the traffic coming from the affiliate stats. G only list maybe..if I am lucky 20-30% of this traffic. Last week, G showed I had just 2 visitors on my site, yet SmarterStats was showing 551. Yesterday Google stated I had 4 visitors, I had 7 sales! WTF? I have NO faith in G analytics period. Big Brother...oh brother!?!

Maybe NetSol needs to offer another source for statistics so we can get a real idea of what is happening on our sites.

Hi David,

I can't commend on adwords conversion but if this is tracked inside google analytics google.com/analytics, the only thing you need to add is the account number in Operations >> Settings. You do not need to add any other code to your site.

Joe

Is the account ID the only thing I need to enter in the Analytics box in V7?

Wackyjazz,

GA should be capturing MOST of your visitors and conversions. The only ones it should miss are those who have java script disabled. I don't know if the site you were comparing GA to another analytics provider to was on a NetSol platform or not...but as we've noted, there is a problem with the NetSol integration with GA. If it's not on a NetSol platform, it's possible that you could have entered the code incorrectly. I've got GA on numerous sites of mine, and have run other analytics programs simultaneously but never had such differing results.
