Hello,

I am having a problem using Website Builder Tool with IE8 and Windows XP SP3. AS soon as I click the EDIT button on any pages, an error came on right away. Here's one example:

Message: Syntax error
Line: 1
Char: 1
Code: 0
URI: http://websites.networksolutions.com/ShowE...o?do_login=true

Message: Could not complete the operation due to error 80020101.
Line: 437
Char: 75
Code: 0
URI: http://websites.networksolutions.com/N1050.../bundles/lib.js

I have no problems with Firefox or Chrome, no error message, only IE8.

Could someone please advise how to fix this problem? I called NS Help and they told me to uninstall and reinstall IE8 which I did, and still won't work. I have tried two different computers, the same error message.

Any suggestions and/or comments are much appreciated. Thank you.

I am sorry you are having an issue using Internet Explorer 8 when using the Website Builder Tool. I would recommend the following:
  • Make sure you have compatibility mode set.
  • Update to the latest Java Version.
  • Delete all your temporary files and cookies, re-launch the browser and try again.
  • Disable any pop-up-blockers you may have on the Internet Explorer browser.

I do apologize for the inconvenience and I hope this information was helpful.

Regards,
Richell
