Is it possible to purchase a Dedicated IP for a shared hosting package? I have only seen that option available on the VPS Hosting.

Thanks,

For shared hosting customers, you can obtain a dedicated IP by issuing an SSL Certificate. You can purchase one from NetworkSolutions.com or any other valid SSL Certificate Authority. After we install your SSL, you will be given a dedicated IP address.

If I choose that route, will the domain have to go https? Or can I keep it http://www.anydomain.com and still have the dedicated IP?

You will be able to use both http and https if you have an SSL installed on your hosting package.
