For those of you who may have customers that require international shipping, I have found that when orders are placed through the store front the UPS shipping charges are less than if you were to place the same order through the admin. control panel. Here is why (I rec'd this response from NS)

"The reason the shipping calculations are different from the storefront vs manually creating an order in the admin panel is that one is using dimensionally adjusted domestic weights, the other is using dimensionally adjusted international weights. Unfortunately the storefront is using the lighter adjusted domestic weight. I am reporting this to my product development team as they both should be using the dimensionally adjusted international weights."

I had been using the store front in order to get a quick shipping rate quote for our customers that require the shipping costs in order to process a purchase order. For my recent order the difference between to two was $10! Not knowing any different I of course quoted the lower charge. How long has this been going on I wonder?? and how much has it cost us??
I've only been using this cart for about 5 years.=$$

Be careful out there...
