I want to stream from my webcam in a swf to clients. I have flash media encoder 3 up and running and want to point it to the right server url for flash media server. I have flash cs3 pro and all the flash documents made and working through localhost.. just need that to work on my website here at networksolutions..

With flash media server I have to be running windows server OS?

Would my computer then be using my ISP and its IP address as the url? How does that work.. in a nutshell?

All I want to do is stream from my webcam a small screen in a flash document visible on my website at any time. Also hooking up my 360 with a usb to a/v.. so I can stream live video game matches.. very important. Do to the massive amount of uses people have already found for this including, video blogs, live events and porn and the millions streaming now I figured it shouldn't be as much as turning my computer into a server or buying server hardware.

I know there are many video hosting websites but they all seem to be really expensive and possibly more than I need..

It could very well be that no one has an answer. Have you tried calling tech support.
