There are two files which are necessary for PHP to function: /cgi-bin/php.dat and /cgi-bin/global.dat. These files must have their permissions set to 770. If these files are missing, any php code will generate a 500 Internal Server Error. I have replaced these files in your package.

Hello Craig,

I've deleted these files by mistake. Can you send them to me so that I can upload them ? Thanks !

I have already uploaded them for you.

If anyone else has this problem, please call our Customer Service Department or complete an Online Service Request from the Hosting Details Page of the Account Manager to have these files replaced.

Can you make those files "read only" so that this doesn't happen to me anymore ?

It is not possible to make these files read only and have them work correctly. You could download a copy of the files so you could upload them again if you accidentally delete them.
