You can host I believe up to 20 domains pointed to one hosting package so in essence you could host 20 sites on one hosting package. While not recommended due to performance if traffic increases it can be done.

Yes, what we call this is domain and directory pointers. Basically you can create a subdirectory under your /htdocs folder and "point" a domain to it so the index file in that directory becomes the domain's home page.

Note, this is if you are creating your OWN html files and uploading them to your hosting package. If you are using our built-in website editor this is not possible.

This should help:

The number of directory pointers is limited by the package (20/40/50 for standard/advanced/pro respectively):

You can also point 100 domains to the package (say the .com/.net/.org pointed to the same directory/website).

Performance should not be an issue - especially when using our Unix hosting as we have a large cluster of servers that distribute the load.

How can I change my Standard Hosting Package Platform from Windows to Unix? In my PC, I use a local web server, WAMP 2.0, which includes Apache 2.2.11, PHP 5.2.8 and MySQL 5.1.30. I have built a joomla site which works perfect locally with wamp server and i want to upload it to Network Solution' s FTP server. The problem is with the database. MySQL and the tool phpmyadmin are supported to Unix Standard Hosting Package Platform only, but I have the Windows one. So, I can' t make a new database to upload the local one. What can I do???
