I was editing my web page using the file manager wysiwyg editor like i have 100's of times before and I went to save my changes and now all I get is an error page.. infact I cannot load file manager, ftp, or stats.. I get errors every time it loads.. I run an online auction house so this needs to be up 24/7 with zero down time..

This is the second time this has happened since going live 2 1/2 months ago..

my site is www.tcbid.com

Any help would be appreciated

Hey rickydobbs.
Cant find your site - something got monkeyed up. Did you possibly rename your index as something funky? Can you get to your file manager if you log in via your netsol account (versus www.tcbid.com/admin)?
Id suggest a filing a trouble ticket instead of posting here. Good luck with it.

yes I called them and they started a ticket.. Nope didnt rename anything.. I was in the middle of using a wysiwyg text editor and did not save anything.. when I pushed the save button (you dont name files at tghis point) the error came up...

I switched to network solutions to avoid problems like this. Sad to say I may have to look elsewere for hosting as this is the second time in 2.5 months this has happened.

Hey rickydobbs. I cant speak for the wysiwyg (I dont use it)...but I've never had any problem resembling what you've dealt with. I doubt its the "hosting" that is at issue. I believe that the wysiwyg system was a 3rd party plugin (think I read that?) and might be problematic. If you just copy and paste your code into D'weaver (or whatever) - edit and copy it back to the page, it might clear up all the issues?

Regardless - good luck with it.

Hey thanks but the problem is now I cannot get into ftp or any other way of uploading my index file.. infact all pages on my site are down including file manager, image cafe and anything else related to the hosting package.

luckily my auction software is hosted on another server and is not affected.. however it is pretty hard for anyone to get to the auction page with out my main tcbid.com page up

I am thinking I am done with the wysiwyg editor and will now use visual studio to edit my pages

I cannot tell you how frusterating it is to have your site down and there is nothing you can do about it.

Hey Ricky. Although I've not been offline with NS...I have been offline with other hosts. I can feel the pain.

You might try calling tech support?

Hi Ricky,

Sorry about the trouble you've had with your service. I was just testing your domain and FTP access and both seem to work now. Are you still having any issues?
