I've tried everything I can to figure out how to be in the top 3 results in Google Base / Google Shopping so that my product shows up on the onebox for our most popular keyword on Google search.

It appears that no one really knows the best way to get there based on my research. Does anyone here have any solid advise?

I've got a feed that submit to Google Base daily (feed itself is only updated once a week though) and it contains only 3 products. I have created about 5-8 custom fields to better explain my products and yet, the first appearance of one of my products is about 1/2 down on the second page Google Shopping results.

I really would like to know what the top 3 guys have done to get into those positions and stay there.

Any help out there for me?

Hey Rhonda,
I found a pretty cool tool that analyzes everyone's attributes......so you can see what attributes some of those people are using and why they might be coming up ahead of you....

can I send it to you thru your website?

Sure but I've probably already seen it; is it the tool by "Tom The Developer"? If it's not, then please do send to me. I've used Tom's tool and it wasn't much help because the guy consistently in 3rd position had only a few attributes; not near what I have or even what positions 1 or 2 have.

I realize this is an old thread, but....

Everyone wants the top three spots, if it was as easy as "do this, or do that" everyone would do that, and everyone would be right back where they started... trying to get the top 3 spots.

msuz has the right approach though. Look at the sites that are in the top three, and do what they are doing.
