I've recently changed hosting provider from XX to Network Solutions but didn't killed my previous one for contingencial purposes.
Yesterday before noon, I made tha DNS changes for my domain to point to the new DNS servers from NetSol. I've checked this info and the change was performed and later verified in the WHOIS and DIG application.
However, after configuring all e-mail mailboxes as POP3 accounts in our Outlook clients, we are starting to feel we're not receiving all our e-mails. For example monday I receive many subscription e-mails from magazines and information providers and I didn't received any of them. I've just received a couple of e-mails all day long.
Do you think there is a conflict because I haven't killed my old hosting service? I don't think so since the DNS servers have been updated and the new mailboxes created. What could be the problem here?
Are the e-mails that people are sending being lost? How can I verify all this?
I confirmed the emails are being received onto our servers. I recommend confirming your POP settings and also confirm your network doesn't have custom DNS routing that is causing mail.yourdomain.com to be sent to the incorrect server.
You can find the POP3 configuration settings here:
