I keep getting this error when I go to my status on drupal

register_globals is enabled. Drupal requires this configuration directive to be disabled. Your site may not be secure when register_globals is enabled. The PHP manual has instructions for how to change configuration settings.

What do I do to make this go away. I can't seem to figure out by going to the configuration settings for
the PHP manual. Maybe I am just gettiing too old for this stuff <GG>

PS: stupid is a stupid does, found another with the same question and am in the process of
trying it out.
