We are currently investigating some connectivity problems with the Ecommerce platform. Some sites across our environment are not resolving. We are investigating the cause of this and will update this post when the issue is resolved. Thank you for your patience while we look into this.
The issues we are seeing at this moment are related to our Network Solutions DNS servers. If your store's domain name is on Network Solutions DNS servers, you will likely be experiencing some sporadic issues. Without this name resolution, your site may be unreachable.
To clarify, if your nameservers are set to nsXX.worldnic.com (where XX is a two-digit number), you may be experiencing domain name resolution issues. If your nameservers are anything else (including ns1 & ns2.monstercommerce.com) you will not see issues.
If you would like to check (assuming a Windows OS), please find a command prompt (Start, run, type "cmd" and hit enter) and type:
nslookup -type=NS yourdomainname
Network Solutions DNS is functioning again as expected. Sorry for the inconvenience.
This is happening again today. Our network team is aware, and working to resolve this. I will update this thread when we have a resolution.
