I want to change my hosting plan from Windows to Unix to enable me publish a blog. However, I was advised by your technical department to cancel my current Windows hosting plan and sign in for a new Unix/Linux plan. Why is it so difficult for you to transfer my credit from Windows to the new plan that I want? Why should I wait for your refund then go thru another process of payment and yet you are the same people am dealing with?
Thanks, J-BAN

At this time, we don't have any way to automatically switch the hosting platform between Windows and UNIX. There are a lot of backend systems involved, so it's much more involved than changing a setting.
I recommend purchasing the new hosting package and republishing all of your files, set up your databases, and change any configuration settings that may be required.
If you have any emails on the original hosting package, we can move those automatically to the new hosting package as to ensure you don't lose any email content.
Please just call our support or open an online ticket from your Hosting Details screen.

If you purchase a new UNIX hosting package, I can move your emails and refund the remaining time on your Windows hosting package.
We do not have a way to just switch them though.

I moved your assigned domain and switched your emails over to UNIX. I also put in a 30 day Money Back request for the Windows package. It should be deleted shortly.
Please republish your website content to UNIX.
