I am trying to set up a favicon (small icon that shows up in front of the URL) for my site. I have created a 16x16 file named favicon.ico. Where does it go in the directory structure? Is this the right way to do this?

Thanks... --jjc

create it and ensure it is an .ico file...

Upload it to your root with the name "favicon.ico" - no quotes

Done.

...as a side note - some browsers will not pick it up. Most will.

PS. Looks like you did everything correct - just upload to your root.

Some might require you to actually add it to your favorites/bookmarks for it to show up.
