Contact Forms Still Not Showing Up

My original contact form, created with the Network Solutions (NS) wizard, has remained unchanged and worked fine for many years. It suddenly and inexplicably stopped sending visitor feedback to my NS hosted e-mail account last March/April 2012. I recreated the form (again using the NS wizard) and created a new Network Solutions hosted e-mail account. The new form does not send messages either. NS Technical Support confirmed that the scripts seemed ok. Apart from telephoning NS and asking for an engineer to investigate (I live in the UK and my hearing is not that good) is there anything else I can do?

hello, i have a webpage fingstyle.com, and today some jerk was messing around with my site, i gota " 403 Forbidden You don't have permission to access on this server". after i went to my admin panel, i clicked on the "reset file permissions" button, and my site was ok after that.
but this punk whoever he is, keeps coming back and i get that 403 error again. what do i do? i cannot block ip adressess , because i have to contact network solutions so they to do it for me.
any professional advice?

Can't Access Gallery After Install

Anybody have any experience with the Gallery application?

Installed it from the list of Open Source apps. That seemed to go fine, it shows up in My Installed Apps with status Installed. But when I try to access it, either by the link shown as its address (http://[hexdigits].netsolhost.com/gallery1) or the "gallery1 Login Page" link, I get "500: Internal Server Error".

Any help or hints appreciated.

I am hosting my desktop site and mobile website with NS. I want to point this URL (m.websitename.com) to my mobile website (websitename.mynetworksolutions.mobi). I added the 'm' as a CNAME under my domain name and pointed it to my mobile site and it is not working. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Domain And Shared Server Both Redirecting To Wrong Place

Hi all,

My domain name, www..org seems to be redirecting to a non-existent folder based on my netsol hosting package.

Specifically, http://www..org seems to be directing to a folder http://.org/~xxxxxx..../cbi/index.php/ which doesn't exist.

The same thing is happening on my shared hosting space, when I try to go to http://xxxxxx.netsolhost.com it redirects to http://xxxxxx.netsolhost.com/~xxxxxx.xxx.&.../cbi/index.php/

Both of these should be going to a directory /htdocs/cbi on my shared netsol account.

Sorry if this topic exists somewhere else, but the only keywords I can think of (redirecting) are all other topics.

I should point out that I can still access the subdirectories of the /htdocs/cbi folder. For example, I can access my joomla admin panel via http://.org/administrator/ so some things seem to be working, others do not.

The problem is affecting our email as well, so the faster people anyone can help, the better!

I previously uploaded a CMS but have decided I want to try a different one, however when I try and upload the files for this all except the images folder will upload, I am getting critical transfer error in filezilla. I have tried to place the images inside the already existing images folder, tried overwriting it and cannot do either, I have tried to change the permissions for this folder but again nothing, could someone please help me? "no Databases" In Phpmyadmin

I am on server mysqlv103. When I log into phpMyAdmin I see "No Databases" in the column on the left. My site is working properly and if I log in through SSH I can see my database so I believe the problem is with the phpMyAdmin configuration. On the bottom of the phpMyAdmin home page I can see the message "The configuration file now needs a secret passphrase (blowfish_secret)." This may or may not be related to my problem.

Can you please fix this issue so that I can access my database. Thank you.

How Can I Turn Off Register_globals?

I am trying to install Dolphin social network and for this I need to turn register_globals off. I have done a search on this and followed all the instructions I could find. I have created a php.ini file with "register_globals=off" and register_globals=0" neither of which worked, I have placed this file inside the social network folder and also tried it inside the root folder but nothing is working, can anyone please advise me on how I can do this?

Rewrite Htaccess

Im handling a website, where we use rewrite but seem to have some problems here on NS. I read post about this issue, but it seems like it works better on ie !
In firefox I get 200 OK -> The server encountered an internal error or
misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

I have RewriteBase /

and essentially how this website uses the rewrite is like this:

The problem occurs when loading the ADMIN/index.php

ie it loads, however in firefox it will halt, but not allways!
I guess it could be a time out ?

Drupal Upgrade To 7.12?

I should start by saying that I'm new to Drupal, and working with it on a test version of my site to try and learn my way around. My question: Is it possible for me to upgrade my Drupal to 7.12 on Network Solutions? I see on my "Available Updates" page it says "Updates of Drupal core are not supported at this time." I thought I could try a manual update, by downloading the 7.12 version from Drupal, and manually dropping the files on the server, but that seemed to break the site completely. Will NS not allow me to update? Manually, even?

I am attempting to use Loghound's Lockdown page for my RapidWeaver site hosted here on trusty NetSol. It has been a disaster since my web developer days are long behind me. The indication is that the .htaccess file must be in the same folder as the .php file. However, the .htaccess must have the complete path for drilling down to the final resting place of the _password file.

My question is what would the begining of the path be from NetSol's perspective? domain.org/htdocs/members/files/_password or /htdocs/members/files/_passwords? Thanks in advance for any help.

I am trying to install Prestashop, an open source site builder, with Filezilla.
So i transfer all the file on the server but, when i launch my website page (www.[domain removed].com), it says :

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /data/24/2/72/84/XXXXXXX/user/XXXXXX/htdocs/index.php on line 29

When i launch www.[domain removed].com/install as it is required to install Prestashop, it says :

PrestaShop requires PHP5 or later, you are currently running: 4.4.7

Is anyone may help me ?

How To Send Email With Perl On Network Solutions Servers

I cannot seem to send an email via a perl script on Network Solutions servers.

I am supposed to have the "Mail::Sendmail" module, but that does not work. Googling around the Internet a bit gives me the impression that it did work at one time. But it no longer does.

In fact, I have tried multiple approaches to sending an email via a perl script, and basically, nothing works.

I finally have the grotesque 3312 line long FormMail.pl script generated by the "make a form" tool available in the Site Manager. I am trying to hack this apart and isolate just the bit that sends an email. So that eventually I would have a function like so...

SendNSMail( $to, $from, $subject, $message );

Or something like that. I almost have it, but not without leaving most of the 3000 lines or so. Having to include 3000 lines or so in every script I write is just awful - it looks hideous and makes the script a pain to write and maintain.

So I've tried making my hacked up FormMail.pl with the SendNSMail function a perl module, but that won't work. It works on my test machine, but I can't seem to get my script to use the module on Network Solutions servers in any way. I also tried just using a simple "require 'MyHackedFormMail.pl'; " to keep things clean that way, but even THAT didn't work. Why can't I simply include another perl script on Network Solutions servers!?

So answering either of the following questions would solve my problems:

1) How can I *SIMPLY* send an email on Network Solutions servers? Why does nothing work? Can I see some sample code that sends an email in under 20 or 30 lines? (This is not an unreasonable request given how easy it is to send email in perl with the right modules - I shouldn't need a 3000 line script.)

OR

2) Is there some way to use my own perl module on Network Solutions servers or to successfully use the "require" perl statement? I am surprised that neither of these things are working and feel like maybe they should be and I am missing something...

I'm getting this error when I try to test my Flex tutorial app from htdocs/FlexMobileTestDrive/gateway.php:

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'Zend/Loader/Autoloader.php' (include_path='.:/usr/services/vux/lib/php:ZendFramework/library')

The include_path is '.:/usr/services/vux/lib/php' and gateway.php appends ':ZendFramework/library' to it.

Does anyone else have a problem with their contact form messages not showing up in their email boxes?

The Network Solutions emailboxes I am using were created a couple days ago. Is there a waiting period for them to become active to use in the From: field of my contact form?

Do I need to do something to have my new Network Solutions email addresses or domains added to a approved whitelist?

I am becoming very frustrated that my contact form on my Network Solutions hosted website is unable to send messages to my Network Solutions hosted email addresses.

Wordpress Can't Connect To Host

So today, I log into my WordPress admin and am getting errors for all of my plugins and RSS feeds. My spam filter, Akismet, isn't working and when I try to update it, I get the error "An error occurred while updating Akismet: Download failed. couldn't connect to host." and mentions something about "Maintenance Mode". In fact, I get that error with all of my plugins. And I can't view the stats or WordPress RSS feeds. I called support and they say it was because of file permissions, which they reset. But that's clearly not the problem, aside from the fact that I constantly have to update my file permissions anymore (which is driving me batty, but that's another story.) From what I'm reading online, it seems like a firewall issue? But when I call support, they don't, like, understand my problem, so they can't help. They just apologize and say there's no problem, but there clearly is a problem. Can I get someone who is maybe completely fluent in both English and technology to fix my problem? I don't need an apology, I need my site working. I feel like the past two months, I've had nothing but problems with NetSol and I'm debating on switching our hosting elsewhere unless I can have a site that operates properly for more than a week in a row without needing database restores, FTP password updates and downtime.

Curl Does Not Work

The follwoing code deos not work. it worked until yesterday.
It returns error "couldn't connect to host" or internal server error 505.
