A user is not receiving emails, and the sender (from a gmail acct) is getting an error message that says:

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 Relaying not allowed (state 13).

The recipient has forwarding set up to his gmail account (not the same gmail acct as the sender).

How to fix? Is this connected to forwarding? The recipient is not a new user, and has received many emails from the sender, at the same sender's gmail account, before. Please help
