I've set an item "eligible for free shipping" and edited my USPS First Class Mail shipping method to support "Free Shipping". However, instead of First Class Mail now showing a cost of $0, it simply disappears from the list of available methods.
Other items that have not be set "eligible for free shipping" continue to show the USPS First Class method at its regular price. Any ideas? I've fiddled with this a bit more and discovered that it seems to be unique to USPS First Class Mail. Also, all it takes to trigger the problem is to set an item "eligible for free shipping". Doing this causes USPS First Class Mail to disappear from the list of available shipping methods for that item. It doesn't matter whether or not USPS First Class Mail has been set to support "Free Shipping". One final clue - if another item that has not been set "eligible for free shipping" is added to the cart, the USPS First Class Mail method re-appears in the list of available methods. |

I have tested this by adding the item 'Gold' to a cart, and checking out. I did receive free shipping for that item, so it seems to be working correctly.
I checked your shipping method, and the max weight for the method is 13 oz, since this item is 5 oz, if you were adding 3 or more to the cart, it would not have pulled that method. |

Thanks, Art ...by the way, the free shipping that you're seeing for 'Gold' is an unrelated 'by-price' option for orders over $100. If you add just one 'Gold' to the cart and look at the USPS shipping options, you won't see USPS First Class Mail, since 'Gold' currently is set "eligible for free shipping". Try adding Tiger Eye, or any other style to the cart that is not set "eligible for free shipping" and see how USPS First Class Mail suddenly becomes available. |

Thanks for the further info, I will do some more testing on this, and let you know what I find.
Update: I am able to recrete this issue in testing, and I will notify the developers of the problem. |
