This is driving me nuts. Every few days I get a bunch of junk signups in my mailing list signup that I have on my left column of my website www.fashionablefabrics.com

On an average day I may have 1 to 3 legit signups and then 15 to 20 junk signups. I cannot figure out who or what is doing this but my guess is it is spider related or spam related.

Take for example today, I got 1 legit signup and 14 junk signups. The junk signups happened over a period of 1 hour. Take alook at this screenshot.

Is anyone else having this issue?

This is costing me money, because many times I miss when this happens and when I do an export and import into icontact, I have to wait for 5 bounced emails before these bogus emails fall off my lists. So I am paying for a much larger list at icontact than I actually have.

I tried the icontact signup forms with double verification and it only caused confusion with my users and I lost a lot of signups. I am hoping there is a way to find out who or what this is so I can block it.

hey Dennis...
I added my icontact signup on a custom page
instead of just doing the import dance on the
integrated signup, and I rarely get spam signups.
I do get a few signups on the system in the cart
which I export, but they are few that come
through that way and they are simple to sift through.

I do not like the icontact signup, it causes to much confusion for my users and I end up losing signups. I do want to find out what is doing these junk signups. I am sure there are many who use the built in signup, was hoping someone else has seen this issue.
