Wonder if anyone has a solution or can tell me what I'm doing wrong...

We offer a product that can be custom engraved on the back..

1st Personalization Question is Would you like engraving ? Yes or No (radio button)

Next question is Font, then captilization, enter text etc.

But I'm finding that if you choose NO, then when you go to checkout it shows all the personalization questions with the default answers

Can this be hidden ? - Shouldn't it be hidden if answer is NO ?

Thanks
Mike

Nope, the personalization will not be hidden. If you create options A and B, regardless of what you make the default it will display as a part of the order. I for one would be unhappy if it did not include the options as if something were to happen and and the client did choose option B instead of A and the cart had an issue that caused it not to display in the order I'd have no way of knowing they did not want the default option.

I understand why you would want this, but in the end it would cause more frustration than it's worth.

Still playin, but the best solution I came up with is that if I use drop downs, then only the questions show with no answers. I also added to the configuration for 1st question > 'NO' the wording "NO ENGRAVING" in all caps. I guess thats the best I'm gonna get.

What would be great is a series of if/thens on personalizations. Perhaps I should hit the wishlist.

Adding to my own post...

I don't see a way possible, but it seems intutive

Product should have a variantion of 'add custom engraving' Y/N

If No, Leave it alone thats it

If Yes, then make personalizations available

Can this be done ?
