We have been using formmail.com since 2003 at the recommendation of Netsol (when it used to be Monster Commerce).

It has been working flawlessly from 2003 until January 29, 2012 (when we received our last query from a potential customer). It worked flawlessly even after we finally migrated to V7 in August.

Now the contact form will not redirect to our "Thank you for Contacting Us" page, nor will it capture and send an email to our Netsol email address that we have received a request for our products. It does nothing.

Contacted Netsol support and they said they have no idea why it is suddenly not working (except that there have been Netsol email latency issues the last 48 hours) and that we should design a new "Contact US" via their built in custom page. We don't have time to execute this. And, we want a customized look and thank you page.

Something happened. We looked at the code and certain elements had been stripped. We put it back in and it's still not working. We have made no other changes to our website.

Can someone from Netsol please help. If anyone else has any thoughts/experience with this, would be grateful if you could give us your thoughts.

Is there a reason why you need to use formmail? If you are using v7 I would suggest to remake the form under Design>Form Design

You can get a custom look with a little CSS. It's really a quick process using the form designer.

For some legacy customers (MonsterCommerce days), there was an inbox message in the top left of the admin panel notifying everyone that the "formmail.monstercommerce.com" server was being phased out and shut down. I'm guessing this is why it's not working. I'd copy and paste that message from my admin, but it seems to be expired now.

I'm guessing that it was only there for legacy customers because I have access to two stores, one that is "new" and one that was migrated. This message was not in the "new" store.

You are probably one of only a few folks still using it. I'm going to mirror AGKIT's suggestion and reassure you that the built in form designer is really simple to set up. Good luck!
