OK... you have added the API...... however, I have to sign up for it before I even know what it can do?? What are the capabilities, how do I use it, where do I find info on it??

It is hard to sign up for something where you have to say how you will use it, when you don't even know what the capabilities are.

Is there documentation we can look at first, before we decide whether or not to sign up for it??

Just to note, the link is temporary until the support site issues are resolved.

Thanks Andy. Is there a forum section for API questions and discussion? Secondly, I've sent a few emails to the API support but haven't received any responses. How do we get support on this? Lastly, reviewing the WSDL file before being able to read the documentation, i noticed there were more API calls available then stated in the documentation. Are those API calls really available and the documentation isn't updated? If so, can we get an updated doc to state clearly what those other API call functions can provide.

There is not yet a forum section, I will have it created. The most recent changes are not yet in the documentation, this is in the works, but all API methods are operational. The members of the API team are currently on vacation and will return on Monday to reply to email communication.

This is definitely a big step forward. Good job guys.

Am I correct that we can add new inventory as well as update existing inventory information?

What applications are people thinking they are going to use with the API?

Hi Christian! From looking at WSDL file, this seems to be true. By the way, if you're familiar with coding and understand XML/SOAP i suggest getting SoapUI. Google it. Get the free software (no adware or anything) and use it to help test your development.

Any word on the API group? I haven't received a response yet from my initial inquiry. I know they've just got back from their vacation and are still catching up. Unless I've missed it, is there any updates whatsoever with the API, documentation, and/or support?
