Are you using POP3? If so, confirm the incoming mail server is mail.yourdomain.com and the outgoing mail server is smtp.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with the actual domain)
If you're using your ISP's mail server, it could be the cause of the delay.
Please let me know if that helps.
The problem is, these emails have worked fine for a year, I have the settings is as you described. No settings were changed at all, we didn't do a thing to any of them. Then suddenly they don't work. Now yesterday, I didn't get an email receipt of an order we received in the afternoon.
It's frustrating, we are getting email delays back and forth to each other, emails coming over a day later. We have no way to know if our customers are getting the emails we're sending, and we also have no idea if we're getting emails that are being sent to us.
I've logged into the webmail separate from Outlook, and those appear empty, so I'm not sure what the problem is, or where.
