Hi,
We have recently entered all of our products into our ecommerce site. We would now like to load them in to QB2007. I have spoken to tech support who claims they will send me an e-mail that explains how to do this. That was 2 days ago.

Is there a way to export the online products into QB instead of the other way around?

Thanks

Hi mdsource,

The only way for products that are in the e-commerce storefront to be moved into QB is to have them be bought on your site. Then once the orders have been synced into QB, that sync will then add the products into quickbooks in the items section.

The easiest work around if you need to get them in before your site is live would be to enable a custom payment method on your site, add all products to the cart, and then checkout. Once the order is moved to shipped status, you will then be able to sync your store front with QB which will then pull in all products. Then simply delete that sales receipt from QB.

Also in terms of receiving an email from us, you might want to check all of your account information with NetworkSolutions to make sure that you have a proper email address in your account. Also I would check any of your spam folders just in case.

Thanks Joe,

I never would have thought about that for a "work around". I was expecting you to explain how to use the spreadsheet from the import/export function.

As far as the e-mail goes they are "still working on a solution" as of my call into them yesterday. They have responded to my e-mail address in the past regarding other issues!

It seems there needs to be more functionality and less work arounds for the Network Solutions E-Commerce software.

Hi mdsource,

Some things to remember is that the New platform is that, New. It took us many, many years to get our old platform to where it is now and that was with limited staffing, small budgets and not many resources. Now that we have many more people on staff, funding and resources we will be able to expand this platform faster than ever before. The thing is it still takes time to write quality software and to try to meet most peoples needs.

In NJ they won't let us sell eggs until they are fully cooked!
