I am thinking about ugrading to Quickbooks 2009. Can anyone tell me if there will be issues with the web connector after upgrade? I am assuming theat if it is the same QB database and company name, that the upgrade itself will not damage the linkls to the NetSol e-commerce store. Can someone please confirm?

Thanks!

I've been running Quickbooks Pro 2009 for months now with no problems until last week but the problem isn't with Quickbooks 2009. When the Web Connect was upgraded to version 139 a coupld day ago it no longer would download at all. Had to down convert back to Web Connect 135 and everything works fine again.

I just upgraded to QB 9 and am unable to sync to Netsol. The QB troubleshooter says that this version is not supported by Netsol. Any idea when this issue will be resolved. This is my first time trying to export sales to QB as I was using an older v not supported by Netsol. lol, can't win. I'm either too late or too soon.

Thanks,
Ange

I don't think it's the QuickBooks version but more the web connector version. You will need web connector version .135 rather than .139. I think your best bet will be to contact Intuit to get their previous version of the web connector. I don't know if our support will have a copy but you can contact them tomorrow to find out as well.

Hi,

How did you convert back to v 135. I recently installed qb pro v9 and installed the Netsol provided link to webconnector v 139. Then I discovered this issued in the forums and Netsol finally provided me with a link to v 135. I tried uninstalling v 139 and installing v 135 but everytime I open webconnect it's still v139. Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

Thanks

Try doing this...

1. Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, uninstall web connector

2. Start > Run... type 'regedit' and click OK

3. Look for the following folder and delete it...
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Intuit\QBWebConnector

... now run the 135 installer and you should be all set!

Jim,

How did you convert down to v 135. I am not having any luck getting v 139 uninstalled.

Hi Brad,

Thanks for taking the time. I did exactly what you said to do and still have v 139. Should I unistall the entire QB 2009 program and re-install it?

Hmm, uninstalling/reinstalling qb 2009 itself shouldn't be necessary. If you haven't already, try restarting your computer after editing the registry, so...

1. Uninstall web connector through add/remove programs
2. Start > Run... type 'regedit' and click OK
3. Look for the following folder and delete it...
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Intuit\QBWebConnector
4. Restart
5. Install web connector 135

Also, the web connector installer available on Intuit's site has been updated to 139 (http://marketplace.intuit.com/webconnector/), so you may want to double check that the installer you have is for 135. The first screen of the installer should display the version number on the left...

Let me know if this doesn't do the trick. Also, just wanted to mention that we're aiming to have the integration working with 139 for the 7.6 release due out later this month.

While testing and switching back and forth between the web connector versions I got stuck on 139. I found another step to take to get back to 135 and wanted to post it here. This should do the trick for anyone still having trouble (and a restart shouldn't be necessary)...

1. Uninstall web connector through add/remove programs

2. Start > Run... type 'regedit' and click OK

3. Look for the following folder and delete it...
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Intuit\QBWebConnector

*4. Delete the following folder from your C drive...
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intuit\QuickBooks\QBWebConnector

5. Install web connector 135

Thanks Brad,

That worked. I am now able to connect to Netsol via the QBWebConnector and have an account set up in my Netsol admin panel, but now I am getting this error message when trying to export orders.
"Invalid Amount Format"
Version:
Network Solutions E-Commerce v7.3.0.0

Message:
Invalid Amount format.

Description:
Error message received from application via getLastError(): Invalid Amount format.

Does anyone know what this means and what i have to do to fix it?

Thanks,
Angel

Did you ever get this fixed? I am getting the same error. In my case I was able to export all orders I received after upgrading to version 7. All my orders that were migrated from version 4 all fail to export using the web connector and they all show that same error "Invalid Amount format"

I discovered that this error is related to the shipping rules. If your shipping rules do not match exactly what they were in version 4 then you will get this error.

You can fix it two ways.

1. Make your shipping exactly how it was in version 4, meaning if you had first class shipping, set that up and make sure the weights are the same.

2. Edit the order that gives this error and pick a shipping option and save it.

The reason this error happened for me was I changed my shipping options, weights etc. So an order in version that file a USPS priority Flat Rate envelope, no longer fit the rules in my version 7 and so this error occurred. I edited my order and picked a similar shipping choice, then adjusted the price to match what I actually charged them back then and saved it. The order then downloaded with no issues. I had to do this one by one on many orders.
