Hi,

Anyone still using the v4 built-in html product catalog (/browseproducts/..html) Google is still picking up this on my website even though I scrubbed this link completely from the site. I didn't ask MC to remove it on their backend but I wonder why Google is still picking it up. However, I am just wondering if any of you out there still using it or is it still relevant? Does it do more harm than good?

Also, when I upgraded to v7 I accidentally deleted the entire store catalog by re-uploading my product database and in turn it removed all the URL mapping btwn v4 and v7. Google used to cache my entire product catalog (12,000+ pages) but now it is declining to 2,000 or so pages only. Granted all the old v4 URLs are getting removed by Google by however it is not adding much of the new URL. Anyone had this issue? If it does how long did it took Goog to re-index all your pages.

Thanks.

It is interesting that you mention this as it has been discussed in a separate thread recently.
