The online aspect of our company is very new. Please take a look at our website and let me know how to make it look more professional and get rid of that low-budget 'mom and pop' look that I feel it has. Its still basically a template with a custom banner. Thanks! www.mojavesupply.com

A couple of quick comments.

#1 - loose the underlines in the left hand column links. Home > Design > Site Design > Styles > fonts > Left Column Links (normal) - choose bold instead of bold underline.

#2 - Try to choose a set height for all your thumbnails. This will make the rows on your front page and category pages even. I would make most of them a lot shorter. The Aqua Sensor you need to make taller - just add white background around the top and bottom.

#3 - Indent your center page. On your Extech Pocket Moisture Meter page, the features circles are in the left column.

#4 - About Us page. Set the margins so that your paragraphs stretch down the page more. The page looks too short. Look at what others on the forums have on their pages.

#5 - You might want to add images of payment and shipping options to fill in some of the empty spaces.

#6 - I have been starring at the monitor all day so my eyes are tired ... but the Search Products being in italics seems to make it blurry.

#7 - Your part numbers are just a tad too light for laptops. If a company wanted to buy from you and had to put in a requisition to their sales department, they'll need that part number.

#8 - Add your hours on your contact page so people know when to call.

This are mostly minor things that can easily be fixed. #1 and #2 are very important (in my humble opinion) if you want to look more professional. But you are a long ways up from looking like a 'Mom and Pop' site. The colors you have picked set you apart.

Oh ... and while you working on the look, start working on your SEO. Your meta description for the Extech Pocket Moisture Meter doesn't even mention those words in it. And be sure to add your company name to the title of your home page. Also, you need to have Netsol set it so that all your pages come up with the www. on them. Some search engines will treat www.yoursite/index.aspx different than just yoursite/index.aspx.

Best of luck and have some fun. Your site will never be finished and you will never be bored (IMG:http://forums.networksolutions.com/style_emoticons/default/bigsmile.gif)

Under uniforms you are using big fonts in a Times New Roman. The rest of the site is san serif. Stick with the same font and don't shout by using big fonts. Make a graphic and insert some pics of the custom uniforms and colors. Dont use Font color to do this

Some more tips for you:

I noticed that your categories don't have any images associated with them. You should create an image for each category or just use one of the images already in that category. This is located under the products tab in the control panel.

As mentioned you need to polish your meta tags for each product as well as for the category pages. Getting found through internet searches depend upon the correct association of your keywords to each page of your site. Every category and each product within that category should have it's own set of keywords, as well as a unique title and description tags. (meta tags) Make sure there is info entered for each product/categories SEO tab.

Another way to improve your SEO is by the use of alt text for each image. This is the text description used for images. It is useful for those who either turn off the images for their browser or can't see images due to a visual impairment.

Last thing...start some keyword testing. You are doing very well on google already and I think you should be able to get more of your keywords onto the first page by studying what is working.

Good Luck
