Hey ashlar.
Getting on a plane in a minute, so not much time to post, but here goes.
>Very cool concepts - and I get your audience...you do speak to them well. Good design.
>Painfully slow loads - I am on a pretty fast connection right now...and its slllloooowwwww
>Might be contrary to your audience (forgive me), but some of your navigation text is "mystery meat" - I am not sure of what each link will take me to; this is normally great if I am in to a leisurely travel through your site, but if I am mining for info - I am not sure where to go to get what I want...more specific to the MOI site.
Great job overall. Will check back soon.
Cheers.
Hey MG I really appreciate the feedback and thank you...
I noticed the load times too and other than the index.aspx png that was centered at almost half a meg (since then re compressed) I was curious to know if you thought the products images were too large/lacking more compression on your end?
The nav images are css rollovers (preloaded as with any css rollover...could be the caveat) that are tiny, the header at 1000x200px is only 60k, the rollover at bottom left (aetv) is tiny too....strange...there's really nothing on this site other than the possible product images (which isn't many total pieces nor is there excessive unused images in the file manager)...
Maybe the watchdog or ssl javascript seal images at the bottom? hmmm...maybe the watchdog implementation in general....i should try and test without the monitor enabled.
Truth being said, I'm actually noticing quite a slow down on NetSol servers in general. Hope this doesnt apply to the MCP interface but seems to be apparent....
I'll hit ya back in regrds to the "mystery meat" navigation hehe
Thanks again for your openness, honesty and time spent =)
