I really like the front page with the categories and subcategories.
The search engines will really like that as well as the customers.

How did you do it?

I also like the popular searches at the bottom.
Is that real time data or static that you change according
to historical searches?

Really informative website. Very nicely laid out.

Hi QMV.

First thing I noticed was that when you link to your homepage in your top of page area, you're linking to
href="/index.aspx">
instead of to
href="/">

No expert here, but maybe you're splitting your pagerank and SEO juice between these two separate url's:

http://www.qualitymobilevideo.com/
http://www.qualitymobilevideo.com/index.html

Just a thought.

Hi QMV,

Very good site! Can you tell me what is the ratio of GoogleCheckout and Paypal orders?
I am offering GoogleCheckout and I am trying to figure out if we should integrate PayPal

Thanks,

I had my left nav set up similary to yours, but as it turns out, I had too many links on my pages. In addition, people are not as likely to scroll as far down as you menu goes. I ended up writing my own menu and as soon as I did that, and redeisgned my menus on my subcategory pages, I started receiving more traffic.

Great job! Very clean and well organized. If you did the design personally you should be very proud of the professional job. Excellent Page Ranking for such a new site. You are doing it right, that is for sure.

I caught myself switching from critiquing the site to actually shopping!

We did it by displaying 2nd level sub-catagories and changing all of the ccs to different styles for the sub catagories. Netsol has a ton of css inline styles and td and tr and div styles so there is a ton of flexability.

The searches at the bottom we change monthly based on the previous months historical data.

Google checkout is very minimal, Paypal is a must.

Shala:
Thanks for the tip on the linking for the "Home" buttons. Mine too were directing to "index.aspx" both in the Header and Footer and I managed to redirect the link without knowing for sure how to do it but it seemed to work ok during a test. I was wondering why my homepage didn't have much authority and maybe that was part of the problem.

QMV:
Nice clean site! I like the Center "Body" column with the two row layout with sub-category links in the product display, "Shop Now" button and product image. Was this something you made custom or is this layout offered buy NetSol?
Also Like your Logo! I did notice that you have two "Shop by Category" headings in the left column. Just wondering if that intentional?

The entire site design was done in house, thank you for pointing out the shop by category duplicates, that is a mistake.

very very nice Job overall
just when i think i'm getting closer to where i want my site i found many great implementations of style that totally eluded my vision. Your soft color tones with flowing product visibility really does work very well.

like a previous comment i too found myself shopping lol
