Okay, we just got our site up on the 7 pro platform last week. Was wondering if anyone could offer some feedback on our site.

Also, we have three checkout methods enabled, our gateway, google checkout, and paypal. Was wondering if you thought that offering all three at the same time was to confusing to the shopper.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Rick.
Have not had much time to post here yet. Looking pretty good, but when you mouse over your top level nav-everything under it "jumps"---I have a feeling that you have something set in your "over" state larger than the regular state?

I'll give you more when I get a minute.

How was your conversion? MartiniArt is not on V7 yet, but I have a number of clients I've built on V7, so Im pretty up on it.

All the best!

Oh yes, thanks for finding that, I totally missed it. Should of known that I would get your eyes on it. I am going to try to figure it out, but probably will not and need your help.

Conversion, was fine, it had a few little bumps, but they did a fine job. We were down maybe an hour.

Yep shame, we couldn't carry over our stuff from the old forums, but heh, in case you missed it, I found what you are looking for

Macrick,

Your website looks nice. I agree with martiguy that the top moves when your mouse is on it.
Please comment if you did any seo since the migration?
Have you edited the meta tag/title tags on your products?
Any recommendations or suggetions for seo?
I tried to send you a private message it would not let me. Weird.
Also have you noticed when you export products and edit products and import that the alt tag on the products change. I found that out yesterday and already told NS. There are so many errors on the back-end stuff but I am very happy with the changes and the software of 7.x. I just was hoping that NS was better ready for us and the software. I think not enough testing was done.

Here is my email address.

Its nice for us to be in touch and share information.

American,

No we haven't done any SEO since migration, we need to get going on it though. Meta tags on the products need to be done. Believe it or not we still need to do all of our category pages. Alot of SEO work left to do.

Evil,

Thanks for forwarding to the wife.

Guys thanks for the compliments, as far as the top moving, I am not sure I understand what you are speaking of, maybe if someone could elaborate.

Hey Rick.
Site is looking good. If you mouse over your top nav images, the body of the site shifts down slightly - almost like the images in the "over" state have an extra few pixels? Not quite sure...Im using IE 6.0.2

I got my notice, so I should be migrating soon. Im thinking of a strategy to mitigate the potential serp fluctuations and page drops I've been hearing about.

All of the clients I've put on V7 really like it, and the results have been quick and positive.

All the best to you and everyone - I hope to be spending more time on this board and leaving the V4 board shortly.

Cheers

Thanks Martini,

I see what you are talking about in Firefox now. It doesn't do it in Safari, thats why I didn't understand.

Don't believe all you here about drops in Serps from Migrating, that was not our experience, if anything we had an improvement in Serps, especially in Yahoo. We expect it to only get better.
