Hello all... my site has a fairly limited audience ...tribal and ethnic jewelry, although it's catching on. I have about 20 people signed up for Newsletter, and get about 20-30 hits a day according to Google with a 35-55% bounce rate...
I get pretty good search results on google (both web and images), especially under Turkoman Jewelry and Tribal Jewelry...but alas few sales.
Critique and suggestions please.
Thanks,

Hey Tribalmuse.
I have a few minutes, so here we go.
SEO, SEO, SEO
-You need to carefully walk through your site and take advantage of every seo opportunity. A quick example would be that your home page title is: "Tribal Muse - Home" ...not very tastey for search engines
-Link your logo to your index page
-You are duplicating your product descriptions in the category views? Not sure why you need the same text in bold and non-bold. If you are going to add text dont duplicate it.
-Add tons of unique content. You should have plenty to write about, considering the unique nature of the product line.
Design stuff...
-To my eye, your logo does not look "integrated" - looks pasted on?
-The text on the logo box (Tribal Ethnic & Fashion Jewelry) is extremely difficult to read...same goes for the repitition of that title tag to the right in the header. Why would you duplicate the logo?
-I notice that you are using stock buttons. I would suggest editing them so that the background color of the buttons (the white border) matches your site background color.
-On the "About Us" page, I would suggest adding more content about your company...including key terms/words. Move the "policy" content to another page devoted to policies and such. I notice you do have policy pages - if you are compelled to have your policy stuff mentioned in the About Us page - why not hyperlink to the detail specific pages?
-Add pictures to your content pages...people, product...compelling images. Even if they are stock images.
-Stick with web safe fonts for text. You are using novelty fonts on your home page - and if the visitor does not have the font you specified, their browser will substitute another font; which can be a toss up. When you use anything other than a web safe font, you can never be absolutely sure what your page will look like when rendered.
-I am viewing your site on a huge screen with 1280 x 1024 resolution and I am seeing a horizontal scroll bar? Need to adjust your site width to eliminate that bar.
-You should check out the thread on image gallery display...it offers a much more elegant/polished solution than the "pop up" with additional images
Gotta run...
Hope that helps and best of luck!
