Hello,

I have just uploaded my entire site to the /htdocs root directory using Network Solution's FTP File Publisher, it appears everything was transferred correctly. However, when I go to my live site nothing has changed. Are there more steps to uploading a modified webpage or site that I am not aware of? I thought that after successfully uploading from FTP File Publisher the live site would instantly update?

I believe I am uploading files to the correct location.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: After further research it seems that my site is being uploaded to the FTP server address and when I browse to that exact address in my browser my site comes up there. However, the site seems to be missing some information. How do I get the site to appear at my registered domain name not the FTP server address?

I would clear your browser cache, refresh and try again.

If you'd like others to validate, you should post your URL.

Well now that is just too odd. It works perfect now.

Could you tell me why I had to clear my brower's cache to see what I believe is a very simple website? And thank you very much for assisting me here, I do greatly appreciate it.
